Mrs. Melissa Durham

About the Teacher

Education: I graduated in 1992 from Delta State University with a degree in Child Development and a minor in Special Education.  I went through the Mississippi MAPQT program and received my teacher certification.  I am certified in Special Education and Home Economics. I received my Masters in Special Education from Arkansas State University in May 2019.

Experience: This is my 16th year of teaching.

Bio:

Bennie and I have been married for 12 years.  We met at a previous job and were reunited in car rider line at Hernando Hills.  After a short courtship, he proposed in car rider line and the rest is history.  Bennie and I are proud parents of 2 fur babies (2 dogs, William Tucker and Liza Jane).  My husband and I own Big Muddy Coffee Co. In my free time I enjoy reading, fill-in puzzles, and watching Golden Girls.
