All About Me!
Education: I graduated from Senatobia High School in Senatobia, MS. After graduating high school, I attended Northwest Mississippi Community College for two years. I then went on to Delta State University in Cleveland, MS where I earned my degree in Elementary Education. I began teaching kindergarten in Desoto County at Hope Sullivan Elementary. While there I decided to attend Union University to obtain my Master's degree in Education.
Experience: This is my 18th year teaching!! I have taught pre-K, kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade!
I have 2 sweet babies!! John Griffin is in 11th grade and Mary Lauren is in 10th grade. John Griffin loves hunting, fishing, playing baseball, basketball and soccer!! Mary Lauren loves to dance, tumble, cheer, play basketball, being in plays and spending time with her friends!! They keep me extremely busy :) When I am not chasing them around, I love to run, exercise and shop!!
Our Classroom
This school year will be FILLED with fun, LOTS of learning and new adventures!! I can’t wait to watch your child learn and grow each day!! Our classroom will be an environment in which all students feel comfortable and safe! I am a very positive person and hope to instill this same positive attitude with your child as well as other important traits such as; responsibility, respect, choices and consequences. All students will be expected to work hard and make good choices towards their behavior. We can learn a whole lot if all students maintain positive attitudes and respect and help one another. Please make sure you are connected to our Class Dojo and feel free to contact me anytime!
