About the Teacher/Welcome Msg

Hello! My name is Hannah Mayfield, and I will be working with our little Tigers in Kindergarten. This is my 8th year teaching in Desoto County. I received my Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Mississippi. I also have a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. 

Homework:

A packet will be sent home every Monday to be completed and turned in on Friday.

Practice the weekly sight words each night!!! Encouraging your child to learn his or her sight words will pay off on Fridays when they get a prize!

Read Every Day (R.E.D.) folders will be sent home starting in October. Please allow your child to read them each night and return on Thursdays. Your child will have a turn to read them to the teachers.
