Courtney Heitman

Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Courtney Heitman, and I'm so excited to be your child's teacher this year! This is my 11th year teaching, my 4th in DeSoto County Schools, and my first year at Hernando Elementary.

I graduated from Harding University with a degree in Child and Family Sciences. I'm married to my high school sweetheart, and we have three children (11 year old son at Oak Grove, 6 year old daughter at HES, and a 4 year old son). We love being a part of the Hernando Schools!
