Welcome to Mrs. Mayo's Kindergarten Class!

I am so excited to have your child in my class this year! We are going to have a great year together!

About Mrs. Mayo:

I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Delta State University in 1997. This is my 27th year to teach and my 21st here at HES!

I live in Hernando with my husband, Todd. We have 2 grown children. Our son, Will, is about to begin training at the police academy.  Our daughter, Mary Allison, is in her first year as a nurse. We also have two dogs, Delta and Cooper, and two cats, Maddie and Ollie.

Important Reminders:

Please remember that your child must be at school for 63% of the day in order to be counted  present.  If your child is at school for less than 63% of the day, he/she will be counted absent. 

If your child misses a day of school, please send a doctor's excuse or a completed absence form to school when your child returns.
