Stapled within the front pocket of the Daily Folder will be your child’s Daily Behavior Chart. Please initial it each day to show that you have seen how she or he performed. Our classroom rules are:
1) Listen when someone is talking.
2) Follow directions the first time they are given.
3) Treat everyone with kindness and respect.
4) Take care of our school and classroom.
5) Work and play safely and quietly.
6) It’s ok to make mistakes.
If a rule is broken, a student will move a clothes pin clip with his or her name on it on a chart in our room.
1) Green—Ready to Learn (Student had a great day)
2) Yellow—Think About It (Given a warning)
3) Orange—Teacher’s Choice (Privilege is taken away as a consequence)
4) Red—Parent/Office Contact (Administrators and/or Guardians contacted)

I completed by Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at the University of Mississippi in 2009. This will be my 12th year teaching. I have taught Kindergarten for 3 years, Second Grade for 2 years, and this will be my 7th year in First Grade. First grade has been my absolute favorite grade to teach!

My husband, Tony, and I live in Hernando and love the community here. We have been married for 14 years, and have twin 9 year old daughters, Alice and Averie. As a family, we enjoy soccer, playing outside, going to the zoo, and spending time with our church family.
